Pruning For Fruit & Flowers
Dr. Bob Bors, University of Saskatchewan
Pruning trees and bushes relies on the same principles for either fruit or flower production. Both can be substantially improved with proper pruning to allow more light, air circulation and regenerating new branches to replace the old. Bushes are surprisingly easy and fast to prune if you know how. Trees require training to have good structure, ideally at a young age. Tools, techniques, timing, and examples of popular plants will be among the information discussed.
