We raised $1,152.00 in the Silent Auction.
Thank you to the local florist who provided beautiful and unique bouquets: Bill's House of Flowers, Select Roses, Florist Supply Ltd., Quinn & Kim's Grower Direct, Windmill Flowers, Flowers by Fred, Blossoms, Janes's Floral Dreams, Gentle Earth Design Studio, CK Florals, Michelle's Flowers, Saskatoon Florist, Carriage House Florist.
About the Silent Auction:
Gardenscape is extremely pleased to welcome the floral industry back to the show in 2012. Local florists will be creating exotic bouquets which will provide patrons to Gardenscape the opportunity to bid (through Silent Auction) on each piece with the money raised going to the Canadian Cancer Society. Roy Jackson died tragically in a car accident with this wife Leona in February of last year. Roy was a florist for many years as well as a member of the Prairie Water Gardening Society. He was an experienced horticulturist and was featured on the Speakers’ Theatre throughout the past years. This is our opportunity to recognize his contributions to the industry.
